Rumors Stir as Galaxy S26 Ultra May Drop Built-in S Pen

These days technology and innovation are at the top of their game and there are some leaks where certain reports are contradicting each other. According to one recent report, Samsung is supposed to launch the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a feature that allows for a built in S Pen which was also mentioned that the stylus is a part of the hardware.

The sources of these rumors state that the S26 Ultra would run on next-gen active stylus tech similar to that which is supposed to be on the Galaxy Z Fold7. Moreover, thanks to the phone’s new look, Samsung would be able to embed the Qi2 magnetic coil into the phone itself, which is currently only possible with accessories.

The S-Pen change was the solution to the limitations of Samsung’s passive stylus on the S25 Ultra which can only work with a display digitizer that is the main hardware. Even though this method is reliable and short, it is said that the stability of the system is at risk and it becomes less cost-effective.

On the other hand, a voice of reason has come forth at just the right time before the S Pen addicts start their rants, and this is someone whose words can be trusted.

Ice Universe, a most respected and always right Samsung informant, has given a straight refusal which leaked the claim. When a worried user asked “S26U will not have a built-in S-Pen?” Ice responded very clearly: “S25 Ultra has taken away the bluetooth function of the S-Pen and already got negative feedback from the fans. If they get rid of the built in S pen, will no one revolt? that charlatan is talking something nonsense. Do not believe it.”

Ice Universe’s statement is definitely true in the uncertain world of leaks, where his reputation is greatly respected. Samsung is not expected to do such a big change based on his previous record, especially after the reaction of the public to the small changes such as the S-Pen for the S25 Ultra that has lost the Bluetooth function.
